We were welcomed by rather wet weather when we arrived to Loch Lomond in the late morning. We barely managed to catch the ferry between Tarbet and Inversnaid that carried us to the other side of the lake.

Reaching the other side we admired the magnificent sight of the Arklet Falls waterfall then walked along the shore of Loch Lomond following the West Highland Way.

We tried to find Rob Roy's cave unfortunately without any success but at least we climbed the hills by the lake.

After having soaked to the bone we managed to find warm shelter and refreshment in Inversnaid Hotel with dogs while waiting for the return ferry to arrive.

On our way to the accommodation we drove on a tiny road B8074 along the Orchy river in Glen Orchy. Wondering in the scenic countryside we came upon a massive waterfall Eas Urchaidh. Then we drove straight to Glencoe before stopping for supper.
